A pair of knitting patterns to celebrate this special year and to say "I love you" to Paris... and to La Droguerie!
Stroll along the vast Champ de Mars, and let your gaze wander towards the shimmering silhouette of the Eiffel Tower. All around, light kid mohair balloons float gently in a starry sky, illuminated by touches of shiny yarn. Our vintage Balloons knitting sweater is a hymn to Parisian poetry and the joyful spirit of La Droguerie, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025! A knitting pattern to feel at the heart of Paris, to celebrate La Droguerie's anniversary and the timeless magic of the capital.
Available in sizes 36/38 – 40/42 – 44/46 – 48/50 and 52/54. A great challenge for knitting enthusiasts.
Our sweater is knitted with 1 thread of Supernatural (merino) and 1 thread of Veil (fine mohair and metallic yarn for shine) for the background. The balloons are knitted in Kid Mohair for the fluffy side. It's joyful, tender, a little retro, and completely in the Droguerie spirit.
The design is simple, and each piece is knitted separately. But it's a long process, as you need to be very focused to avoid missing any of the jacquard chart, plus the embroidery work. That's why we've categorized it as an intermediate level. A great challenge! Take your time and have fun!
