La Coquette se compose de 70% de mohair super fin pour le côté doux, chaud et 30% de polyamide pour la solidité et la tenue de la matière. On obtient un fil de mohair très léger, moelleux et confortable.
Le poil de la “Coquette” est prélevé sur de jeunes chèvres angora. Il est sélectionné en fonction de sa finesse.
3300 mètres au kilo env. = 165 mètres (ou 180 yards) dans 50 gr. (Un yard = 0,9144 mètre et un mètre = 1,0936 yard).
- Recommended needles: 4 to 6.
- Ironed jersey sample: 10 x 10 cm = 18 sts on 22 rows.
Knit your sample and take its measurements: if it is smaller, use a larger needle, if it is larger, a smaller needle (generally half a number is enough). - Hand or machine wash on a 30° wool cycle. Rinse in lukewarm water and dry flat. After drying, lightly brush to bring out the pile. Before washing the entire knit, test it on your swatch.
- Maintenance advice: avoid any temperature shock between the washing water and the rinsing water. Lightly wringing in a towel and drying flat will keep your knitting looking its best.
