A fluffy, very soft and warm yarn. Made from 30% angora rabbit hair and 70% wool. This exceptional yarn is very comfortable to wear and suitable for all ages: babies, children, and adults.

Technical characteristics

• DK wire
• 3300 meters per kilo approximately = 165 meters (or 180 yards) in 50 gr.
• Recommended needles: 4.5mm
• Sample (ironed jersey): 10 cm = 19 sts on 25 rows.
  Knit your sample and take its measurements: if it is smaller, use a larger needle, if it is larger, a smaller needle (generally, half a number is enough).
• Hand wash 30°, rinse in lukewarm water. Avoid any temperature shock between the washing water and the rinsing water. A light spin in a towel and flat drying will keep your knitwear in its original appearance. Before washing the entire knitwear, test it on your sample.

• Needles : 4.5mm (US 7)
• Gauge : 19 sts/10 cm (4″).
• Balls: 50 g; 165 m (180 yards)

History/origin

The Angora rabbit is an all-white, long-haired rabbit bred in France, in the Anjou region. To keep the rabbit healthy, it must be brushed and its fur plucked regularly.
