70% super fine mohair + 30% polyamide

La Plumette comes from young Angora goats. These young goats were chosen for the fineness of their hair.
We obtain a very light, soft and comfortable mohair yarn.
This super fine mohair yarn is combined with a polyamide yarn for added strength.

Knit single or double, this is the soft and ultra-fine knitting yarn from La Droguerie!
Use Plumette mixed with another knitting yarn,
It will bring volume, lightness and softness to your knitting.

Technical characteristics of Plumette

• Recommended needles: depending on the model: from 2 to 2.5 for a classic piece and up to 6 and more for a shawl.
• Gauge: according to the stitch used. Knit your gauge and take its measurements: if it is smaller, use a larger needle, if it is larger, a smaller needle (usually a half size is enough).
• Hand wash at 30°, rinse with lukewarm water, dry flat. After drying, brush lightly to bring out the hair.
  Before washing the entire knit, do a test on your sample.
• 10,000 meters per kilo approx. = 500 meters (or 547 yards) in 50 gr.
