Pépites knitting yarn has a natural and very soft organic cotton base (91%), to which a touch of shine has been added with a metallic polyester thread (9%).
Organic cotton is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional cotton. This plant fiber comes from the cotton plant. This shrub grows in hot and humid regions (e.g., India and South America). Choosing organic cotton reduces water consumption, protects the health of farmers, and preserves your sensitive skin. Cotton is the most widely produced natural fiber in the world.
It is appreciated for its absorbency, flexibility and good resistance. It is also pleasant to the touch, soft and fluffy.
Technical characteristics of Pépites
- Recommended needles: 3.5 to 5 depending on the model
- Jersey sample (size 4 needles): 10 cm = 22 stitches x 28 rows
Knit your sample and take its measurements: if it is smaller, use a larger needle, if it is larger, a smaller needle (generally, half a number is enough). - Recommended machine wash at 30°, dry flat. Before washing all the knitting, test your machine by doing a test run with your sample.
