La Coquette is made of 70% superfine mohair for its soft, warm feel and 30% polyamide for strength and durability. The result is a very light, soft, and comfortable mohair yarn. The hair of La Coquette is taken from young Angora goats. It is selected for its fineness.

Technical characteristics of Coquette knitting yarn

• Recommended needles: 4 to 6.
• Ironed jersey sample: 10 x 10 cm = 18 sts on 22 rows.
  Knit your swatch and take its measurements: if it is smaller, use a larger needle, if it is larger, a smaller needle (usually half a size is enough).
• Hand or machine wash on a 30° wool cycle. Rinse in lukewarm water and dry flat. After drying, lightly brush to bring out the pile. Before washing the entire knit, test it on your swatch.
• Care instructions: Avoid any temperature shock between the wash and rinse water. A light spin in a towel and flat drying will keep your knitwear looking its original appearance.
• 3300 meters per kilo approx. = 165 meters (or 180 yards) in 50 gr.
