Mini.B is a pure combed wool. The term wool refers to sheep's wool.
Once shorn, the wool is sorted and then washed to remove plant debris and suint (animal fat).

Combed wool is of higher quality than carded wool.
Combing only keeps the longest fibers, the most beautiful, the most noble. 

Technical characteristics of Mini.B

• Recommended needles: 5 mm
• Jersey stitch sample: 10 cm = 19 stitches x 25 rows.
• Machine washing: some machines have a good 30° wool program, others don't. It's better to try washing a small knitted piece of your wool (your sample for example) and put this piece in the machine rather than your knitting. Be careful with rinsing that is too cold. Dry flat.
  Hand wash: with normal detergent and without temperature shock: therefore with lukewarm water (and not cold). A light spin in a towel and flat drying: your knit will keep all its splendor.
• 2100 meters per kilo approximately or 105 meters (or 115 yards) in 50 gr.

  The term wool refers to sheep's wool. Once shorn, the wool is sorted, then washed to rid it of vegetable matter and lanolin (animal grease). A combed wool is of superior quality to a carded wool. Combing retains only the longest, most beautiful and noble fibers. The ribbon of wool passes through a series of combs to eliminate any short fibers (that cause pilling) and to remove any impurities. After having been combed, it is then separated into sections and the wool is spun into yarn.
